The Border between Europe and Asia:

The Ural Mountains run north to south roughly from the Arctic Ocean to what is now the border between Russia and Kazakhstan, about 400 miles north of the Caspian Sea. Over the past five decades, there has been growing recognition of economic, social and cultural rights in both international and domestic systems of law.
